The Bestselling Belgian Beer Selection is a selection of our most popular, best selling Belgian Beers. Each one is very different ranging in strength, colour and flavour meaning there is something for everyone!
The Bestselling Belgian Beer Selection includes:
Bosteels Pauwel Kwak Beer (33cl / 8.4%) – Kwak is recognisable by its deep bright amber colour and a dense, creamy coloured head, as well as distinctive glass and wooden glass holder. A malty aroma and a slightly spicy character (think coriander and hops), very mellow with a fruity attack and a slightly spicy character; hints of liquorice passing into a warm finish that reminds you of caramelised banana.
De Koninck Beer (33cl / 5.2%) – Amber coloured, top-fermented beer with a lively taste and velvet soft aroma. Brewed with Saaz hops and 100% pure malt, without the addition of maize or other brewers sugars, De Koninck is a great thirst quencher and best enjoyed out of a ‘Bolleke’, the famous bowl shaped glass.
De La Senne Taras Boulba Beer (33cl / 4.5%) – This session blonde from Belgian craft brewery De la Senne has been generously hopped with the finest aromatic hops, giving it a very refreshing spicy character and a scent reminiscent of citrus.
Delirium Tremens Beer (33cl / 8.5%) – The most famous beer from the Belgian Huyghe Brewery, Delirium Tremens is notable for being made with three types of yeast – it’s also well known for its bottle reminiscent of Cologne ceramics. Top quality stuff, a favourite of many.
Lefebvre Blanche de Bruxelles Beer (33cl / 4.5%) – Brewed using 40% soft wheat, Blanche de Bruxelles has a naturally opalescent colour with a very white, dense head. Coriander and orange peel added during wort boiling lend a slight but unobtrusive spiced nose. Although soft and smooth on the palate, as is typical of soft wheat beers, this light and well-balanced white beer is very fresh. Its complex aroma and modest alcohol content make Blanche de Bruxelles a beer like no other.
We hope you enjoy this beer selection!
