Description
The “Ring Grain” pipes were first produced in 1996 by blasting a straight grain bowl proved to reveals circles neatly stacked around the bowl, a very distinct look and quite rare to find.
Contrary to belief the briar chosen to produce Dunhill sandblast pipes is of the highest quality and not selected for its imperfections. The briar is in fact very carefully selected as a softer wood is better suited to obtain the craggy surface and is prepared by being oil treated to strengthen and enhance the grain of a Shell pipe.
This pipe has been individually photographed, so that the pipe you see in the picture is the pipe you will receive.
